Problem Solution

The lter is blocked. Switch off the appliance, clean the feeding tube and the lter and

process a smaller quantity.

The lter touches the

feeding tube or vibrates

strongly during

processing.

Switch off and unplug the appliance. Check if the lter is

placed properly in the juice collector. The ribs in the bottom of the

lter have to t properly onto the driving shaft.

Check if the lter is damaged. Cracks, crazes, a loose grating disc or

any other irregularity may cause malfunction. If you detect any cracks

or damage in the lter, do not continue to use the appliance and

contact the Philips Consumer Care Centre in your country for

replacement of the lter.

The citrus press does

not work.

Please check if you have plugged in the appliance. If the appliance is

plugged in, check if the parts have been assembled correctly. If they

have not been assembled correctly, switch off the appliance and

assemble the citrus press parts properly.

I cannot nd the juice

collector for the citrus

press.

This type of citrus press has no juice collector. The juice ows directly

out of the spout into a glass or into the juice jug.

I do not understand

what the two wings on

the cone are for.

The wings stir the pulp to make the juice pass through the sieve more

easily.

I want to know if I can

clean all detachable

parts in the dishwasher.

All detachable parts, except for the gear box, can be cleaned in the

dishwasher. Clean the gear box with a damp cloth.

I cannot clean the spout

when it is attached to

the sieve holder.

The spout is detachable. Pull the spout off the sieve holder to clean it.
