Cleaning and storage
Neverusescouringpads,abrasivecleaningagentsoraggressiveliquidssuchasalcohol,petrolor
acetone to clean the appliance.
The appliance is easier to clean if you do so immediately after use.
Juicer
1 Switchofftheappliance.Removetheplugfromthewallsocketandwaituntilthelterhas
stopped rotating.
2 Lower the locking arm to unlocked position (Fig. 23).
3 Tokeepyourkitchenclean,alldetachableparts(integratedpulpcontainer,juicecollector,
lterandlid)canbecarriedtothesinkinonego(Fig.24).
4 Disassemble all detachable parts.
5 Todetachthedetachablespout,pullitoffthejuicecollector(Fig.25).
6 Empty the integrated pulp container.
7 Clean all detachable parts with a sponge or wet cloth in warm water with some washing-up
liquid and rinse them under the tap.
Note: All detachable parts are dishwasher-safe. Place the detachable plastic parts in the top tray of the
dishwasher. Make sure they are placed well away from the heating element.
8 Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth.

1 Switchofftheappliance.Removetheplugfromthewallsocketandwaituntiltheconehas
stopped rotating.
2 Lower the locking arm to unlocked position (Fig. 26).
3 Tokeepyourkitchenclean,alldetachableparts(exceptthegearbox)canbecarriedtothe
sink in one go (Fig. 27).
4 Clean all detachable parts (except the gear box) with a sponge or a wet cloth in warm water
with some washing-up liquid and rinse them under the tap.
Note: All detachable parts (except the gear box) are dishwasher-safe.
5 Clean the motor unit and the gear box with a damp cloth.
Neverimmersethemotorunitandthegearboxinwaternorrinsethemunderthetap.
Nevercleanthegearboxinthedishwasher.
Storage
1
Store the mains cord in the cord storage facility by winding it round the base of the motor unit.
Caution: Do not hold the appliance by the locking arm or spout when you carry it.
