DAB Reception
PTY (Program type)
Displays the content type (e.g., Classic, Pop,
News, etc.)
Data Rate and mode
Displays the transmission rate of broadcasting in
bits per second (kbps) and the audio status of
the current service in stereo or mono.
Multiplex name
Specifies the multiplex of current service. (A
multiplex is a group of stations broadcast by a
multiplex operator.)
Time and date
Shows the date and time of the current
multiplex.
Programming DAB stations
You can save up to 20 DAB stations in the
system memory.
1 Select your desired station as described above.
2 Press PROGRAM on the remote control and
then press PRESET+/- on the front panel to
select a location for storing your desired station.
You can also use the Numerical Keypad
(0~9) to input a number directly and tune to
the service associated with this number.
To input a number larger than 10, press SHIFT
once or more to select the first digit you want
and then use the Numerical Keypad (0~9)
to input the second digit.
3 Press PROGRAM on the remote control again
for confirmation until “Preset # saved” (#
indicating the preset number your selected).
Tuning to preset DAB stations
Press PRESET+/- on the front panel to the
system until the desired preset station is
displayed.
The system will tune to your selected station
automatically.
You can also use the Numerical Keypad
(0~9) to input a number directly and tune to
the station associated with this number.
To input a number larger than 10, press SHIFT
nonce or more to select the first digit you want
and then use the Numerical Keypad (0~9)
to input the second digit.
Resetting the system
If necessary (e.g., when you move the system to
a new location and the previously stored stations
are unavailable in the new location), you can
reset the system to its default settings.
1 In the DAB mode, press and hold DISPLAY/
RDS on the remote control until “System Reset”
appears on the display panel.
2 Press OK/ENTER on the remote control to
confirm.
The system will clear its internal memory and
automatically start a quick scan all over again.
