Enter the Proxy Address using the On
screen Keyboard.
For details on how to use the On screen Keyboard,
refer to ‘Guide to the On Screen Keyboard’ on page 45.

Select “OK” using [ / / / ] , then
press [ OK ].
Confirmation Message will appear.

Select “Yes” using [ / ] , then press
[ OK ].
Please Move on to ‘Proxy Port’.
Proxy Port

Select “Proxy Port” using [ / ] , then
press [ OK ].
Proxy Port Number Entry Cell will appear.

Enter the Proxy Port Number using [ / ]
or [ the Number buttons ].

Press [ OK ].
Connection Test
After Enabling a Network Connection or Manually change the
Network Settings, always perform the Connection Test to check
to see if the Connection is correctly made.
1.
Press [ (home) ], then select “Setup”
“Network”
“Connection Test” “Start
Now”, then press [ OK ].
Connection Test will Start. The Test Result will appear
right after the Test Finishes.
Testing...”: The Test is in Progress.
Pass”: Connection Test is Successfully
Completed.
Fail”: Connection Test Failed. Check the
Network Settings.

Press [ OK ] to Select “Info”.
Network Address Information will be Displayed.

Press [ OK ] to Finish.
About Download Speed
If a message which informs you that your Internet
Connection Speed is too slow to use Video On-Demand
Services, you may need to Update your Connection Speed.
Please contact your ISP for further Assistance.
Setting Status
You can Check the Network Status.
1.
Press [ (home) ], then select “Setup”
“Network”
“Setting Status”, then press
[ OK ].
List of Network Information will be Displayed.
• Press [
(home) ] Repeatedly to Exit.
USB-HDD Connection
If you wish to use a USB-HDD, connect a USB-HDD to this
Unit and Register it. The USB-HDD is Not Ready to use until it
is Registered.
Before Connecting a USB-HDD (external HDD)
USB-HDD can Record Digital TV Programs, which this Unit
Receives, and Plays back the Recorded Titles just like the Internal
HDD does. (Refer to the USB-HDD’s Manual as well.)
If Connecting a USB-HDD that has been used on another
Device (HDD Recorder / TV / PC) to this Unit, ALL
Stored Data on the USB-HDD will be DELETED due to
necessary Initialization in this Unit’s Unique Formatting.
In order to Use the USB-HDD (which has been
Connected to this Unit), on a PC, the USB-HDD will
need to be Initialized (Reformatted) on the PC. Note that
ALL Stored Data on the USB-HDD will be DELETED.
Stored Titles Recorded on the USB-HDD with this Unit
can Only be Played on this Unit. Other HDD Recorders
or PC’s are not compatible.
