Before Recording
Setting for Auto Chapter
Set the Chapter Interval. When Recording, Chapters will
Automatically be created based on this Setting.
This Setting applies to Normal Recording, One-Touch Recording
and Timer Recording.
1.
Press [ (home) ], then select “Setup”
“Playback / Recording”
“Auto Chapter”
using [
/ / / ] , then press [ OK ].

Select a Chapter interval using [ / ] ,
then press [ OK ].

Basic Recording &
One-Touch Timer Recording
Follow the Steps below to Record a TV program.
Note(s)
When Playback of a Recorded Program is Blocked by the
Child Lock, a message appears on the TV Screen. In such
case, check the Child Lock (V-Chip) Setting. (Please refer
to page 29 for more details.)
If you wish to make a Recording to a USB-HDD, you need to
Register a USB-HDD with this Unit beforehand. (Refer to ‘USB-
HDD Connection’ on pages 55–57.)

Select a Channel to Record using
[ CH +/ ] or [ the Number buttons ].

Press [ MENU ], then select
“HDD Source”, then press [ OK ].

Select a Recording Media using [ / ] ,
then press [ OK ].

Press [ REC ] to Start Recording.
will be Displayed for 2 seconds.
Press [
(Pause) ] to Pause Recording.
Press [
(Pause) ] again to Restart Recording.
Note(s)
While HDD / USB-HDD is in Playback the [ REC ] is Not
Available. Stop the Playback before using Basic Recording
or One-Touch Timer Recording.
