to reset the phonebook content.
This option only applies to the phonebook in your
phone, not to the SIM phonebook (see “Phonebooks”
page 35).
If you don’t want your phone to ring
when you receive a call, you can deac-
tivate the ringer. In this case, the in-
coming call symbol flashes when you receive a call, the
display shows
Incoming call
, but the phone doesn’t ring.
To deactivate the ringer, proceed as follows:

>
Sounds
>
Ringer
volume
.

Press left until the volume is set to
Silence
.
Silent mode can also be set by selecting
Quick Settings
>
Silence
. In this case, the vibra alert is also activated.
For faster access, you can assign a hotkey to this func-
tion.
If you have set the function, your
phone vibrates when receiving an in-
coming call (activating the silent mode
via the
Silence
Quick setting as described above will
also activate the vibra alert). Otherwise, proceed as fol-
lows:

Clear the phonebook
Reset
Reset phonebook
Deactivate the ringer
