Recycling
- This symbol on a product means that the product is covered by European Directive
2012/19/EU (Fig. 1).
- This symbol means that the product contains a built-in rechargeable battery covered by
European Directive 2006/66/EC which cannot be disposed of with normal household waste.
Follow the instructions in section ‘Removing the rechargeable battery’ to remove the battery
(Fig. 2).
- Inform yourself about the local separate collection system for electrical and electronic products
and rechargeable batteries. Follow local rules and never dispose of the product and
rechargeable batteries with normal household waste. Correct disposal of old products and
rechargeable batteries helps prevent negative consequences for the environment and human
health.
Removing the rechargeable batteries
Batteries may explode when exposed to high temperatures or re.
Only remove the rechargeable batteries if they are completely empty.
You can remove the rechargeable batteries in the following way.
1 Let the handheld vacuum cleaner run until it stops.
2 Remove the dustbin and the cyclone from the handheld. (Fig. 3)
3 Undo 2 screws from the inside of the handheld vacuum cleaner (Fig. 4).
4 Turn the handheld vacuum cleaner and remove 4 screws. (Fig. 5)
5 Remove the back panel from the handheld vacuum cleaner (Fig. 6).
6 Insert a screwdriver and push it down to remove the panel on the left side of the
appliance (Fig. 7).
7 Remove 2 screws from the bottom (Fig. 8).
8 Remove 4 screws om the left side of the appliance (Fig. 9).
9 Remove the left housing part (Fig. 10).
10 Take out the battery pack and cut the wires connected to the rechargeable batteries one by
one (Fig. 11).
