This menu only allows you to set the alert sounds

, NOT the alerts themselves. E.g. setting the
Organiser
alert

will not prevent your phone from
displaying the
Reminder
screen (if you programmed
one), but the corresponding sound will not be played.
Vibra alert
Allows you to set the vibra alert
On

Off
when
receiving a call, when an event set in the organiser is
due, when you receive a message and when the alarm
rings.
The vibra alert is always
Off
when you connect the
charger or the Cigarette Lighter Adapter.
Animation
Allows you to set the animation of the menus
On
or
Off
. When
On
, this option will also scroll texts, such
as a message selected in the
Read SMS
menu.
Deactivating this function increases battery life.
Backlight
Backlight is activated when receiving incoming calls
or messages, browsing menus, etc. Select one of the
available values.

Wallpaper
Allows you to set the wallpaper of the main screen
On
or
Off
. When
On
, the picture you selected is displayed
in normal mode in idle, and in fade mode in other
contexts.
Only JPEG pictures can be used as wallpapers. The
selected wallpaper is not displayed in idle when the
International clock option is On (see page 47).
Hotkeys
Allows you to set up direct access to a specific function
or a contact by linking it to a key. A long press on the
key in idle mode will then automatically activate the
function or call the associated number (Flash dial).
Hotkeys are preconfigured, e.g.

for Silence, but
you can reprogram them (keys from

to
9
