6 Other features
Set the alarm timer
This micro system can be used as an alarm
clock. You can select the disc or tuner as alarm
source.
Note
Make sure that you have set the clock correctly.
1 Press POWER to switch the system to
standby mode.
» The clock is displayed.
2 Press and hold TIMER for 2 seconds until a
prompt to select the source is displayed.
3 Press DISC or TUN to select an alarm
source.
4 Press TIMERtoconrm.
» The hour digits begin to blink.
5 Press / to set the hour.
6 Press TIMERtoconrm.
» The minute digits begin to blink.
7 Press / to set the minute.
8 Press TIMERtoconrm.
» The timer is set and activated.
Activate and deactivate alarm timer
Press TIMER ON/OFF repeatedly to activate or
deactivate the alarm timer.
» If is displayed, the alarm timer is activated.
» If disappears, the alarm timer is
deactivated.
Note
The alarm timer is not available in AUX mode.
If the selected alarm source is unavailable, tuner is
activated automatically.
Set the sleep timer
This micro system can switch to standby mode
automatically after a set period of time.
When the system is turned on, press SLEEP
repeatedly to select a preset period (in
minutes).
» When the sleep timer is activated, is
displayed.
• To deactivate the sleep timer, press SLEEP
repeatedly until [0] is displayed.
» When the sleep timer is deactivated,
disappears.
Listen through headphone
Plug a headphone into the HEADPHONE
socket on the micro system.
