Information
Upgrade software
The software installed in your recorder is
continuously being refi ned for greater stability
and compatibility of the set. Periodically, Philips
issues upgrades for the software which you can
copy onto a CD to install on your recorder.
Caution!
Power supply must not be interrupted during
upgrade!

Visit Philips’ website at ‘www.philips.com/
support’ to check for the availability of the latest
software upgrade.
Note
When checking for the latest software upgrade,
please also check for any accompanying instructions
on installing the software.

Care
Energy saving
In order to minimise the power consumption in
standby mode, we recommend you to enable
Eco mode. See chapter ‘Adjust settings - Set
energy saving mode’.
Clean discs
Caution!
Never use solvents such as benzene, thinner,
cleaners available commercially, or anti-static sprays
intended for discs.
•
Wipe the disc with a micro fi bre cleaning cloth
from the centre to the edge in a straight line
movement.
